Founding and Mission

Green Horizon Foundation (GHF) is a non-governmental organization founded in 2020 and officially registered in 2024. It was established by Enoka Munduka John and Geofrey Samson Mugini to address biodiversity loss, climate change, and the sustainable use of natural resources.

Core Objectives and Approach

The core objectives include promoting the conservation of natural habitats, supporting sustainable farming, practices, addressing climate change issues and raising environmental awareness.

Major Projects and Achievements

Since its founding,member from the GHF have carried out impactful projects supported by local and international donors.

Challenges and Limitations

Despite its successes, GHF faces challenges such as limited funding, insufficient biodiversity monitoring equipment, and the ongoing struggle to balance conservation with the socioeconomic needs of rural communities.

Future Plans and Vision

Looking forward, GHF plans to establish a Community Conservation and Research Center, expand environmental education programs, and introduce eco-friendly to communities in Tanzania.
