Sustainable Beekeeping Initiative
Our flagship program in the Mbeya Range Forest Reserve provides beehives to local households, creating eco-friendly income opportunities while protecting forest biodiversity. Beekeeping serves as a sustainable alternative to activities that might harm the forest, while providing families with a reliable source of income.
To date, we've trained community members in modern beekeeping techniques, resulting average income increase for participating families.
Conservation Education
We conduct regular workshops and training sessions to educate community members about sustainable resource management and conservation practices. Our programs emphasize the connection between healthy ecosystems and community well-being.
Over 100 community members have participated in our education programs, leading to measurable reductions in illegal logging and poaching activities in protected areas.
